The Weekly Ketchup

Building, Scaling, and Winning in 2025

Hey, it’s John.

Football is back. Coaching the boys has been way more fun than I expected.

There’s something about seeing kids compete, figure things out, and push themselves that makes all the long practices worth it. Honestly, I feel like I’m the one learning as much as they are.

Outside the field, I’ve been locked in at the gym. Feeling stronger, sharper, and in rhythm again.

It’s wild how one habit like that sets the tone for everything else family, business, even coaching.

On the business side, I’ve been behind the camera more. You’ll start seeing raw clips on Instagram and LinkedIn. No highlight reels, no polish. Just the real behind-the-scenes of Bravo Company Digital—from leaving the Army in 2022 to now running a six-figure-a-month agency.

What I’m Learning at Bravo

Here’s the lesson that’s been hitting me hard lately:

I thought the toughest part would be getting clients.

It’s not.

The toughest part is systems. Hiring. Delegating.

Learning to stop being the guy who does everything and start being the guy who leads everything.

That’s why offshore talent has been a lifesaver.

We’ve built a team in Pakistan….social media managers, VAs, ops…all sharp, all reliable.

It’s not about cheap labor. It’s about leverage.

And leverage is how you grow without burning out.

Content Corner

I’m about to get consistent on YouTube.

Plan is simple film in the car on the way to or from the gym. Raw, short, honest.

LinkedIn has been where I share the messy stuff….client blowups, hiring mistakes, close calls.

The lessons that never make it into glossy highlight reels.

Real Estate Corner

I don’t talk about it as much, but real estate is still a big part of my world.

Between storage facilities, flips, and now building out a distressed property acquisitions pipeline, it’s the long-term play.

Business builds cash.

Real estate builds wealth.

That combo is how I’m trying to play the game.

See you next Tuesday,

— John
